Hmm neck and relief massager? Let’s be honest, body pain massagers don’t need to be fully waterproof or discreet and quiet. If you’re looking for some relief, this massage gun will definitely give you a certain type of relief *wink wink*.In comparison to other ‘massagers’ I’ve used in the past, I would not call this discreet at all. The vibrations are too loud and I’d be worried that they could be heard from outside my bedroom door! (Not that I should be worried, as I am just having a well needed relief session with my body massager). In terms of power, it’s good depending on the mode that it is set on. Some options are stronger and hit harder than the others.

As some have mentioned in their reviews this is not a small vibrator at all, if you are looking for compact or more discrete then this is not it.What is does have as an advantage is the large sizer, that actually does improve the use as you have a full hand in control. It really comes down to what you prefer.Overall, the number of options and speeds is more than you really need, and the battery life is average to most others. The new charging method is an improvement over the magnetic chargers and the water-resistant upgrade is nice.Good 4-Stars

It didn’t really disappoint… I was not expecting any more power than it delivered. So for that, I think it is quite fit for purpose. It is great for those neck pains, or base of skull pains as it is not too powerful to cause a jolt on your skull/brain, yet it is effective enough to relieve the pain.It didn’t do much for my back and shoulder pain, nor to my thigh and calf pain.It is very nice that it charges off a USB port, but I cannot forgive the fact that it uses a specialized charging cable to a headphone jack at the other hand… I’m guessing it is just a cheap trick to achieve water resistance on the USB cable jack… no matter, it is unforgivable. one star deducted.Otherwise, battery life is good and the build quality seems well enough.I like it (sans the charging cable)!

After charging this up and testing it out I did find that it was actually quite loud. There are 5 intensity levels and each time you change a vibrating mode it goes to the highest level. There are a few modes that are low intensity even on the highest setting and these are almost quieter than a whisper on the lowest intensity. Then there some that on the highest mode that are so loud and powerful that it feels like a big engine. There are so many different vibrating modes. I thought for a few seconds that one of them was going to vibrate to the jingle bells tune. The material is very soft to the touch and it is a bit heavy. I have not submerged it in the water for long to test how water proof it is but the charging outlet seems to seal each time after you pull out the cable. As soon as I figure out my favorite modes this will help me relax and get out all of my kinks.

For the price, this didn’t disappoint. There are definitely better things out there, but this works without a hitch for this price point (currently $29.99 CAD after applying a coupon).Coated in silicon, this thing is REALLY soft. Just touching the massager is fun, haha. And is waterproof, so great! It is fairly big compared to similar products, but to me, that’s actually a perfect size to use for an extended period of time. It fits well in the hand, with good weight – not too light, not too heavy. If you’re going to use it on someone, I think it’s the perfect size.It is a vibrating massager and, usually for muscle relaxation, I find percussion massagers to be more effective. But this massager still works well enough. I think we all know vibration also works better than percussion for other things. :)The charging cord seems proprietary (the end that plugs into the massager – the other end is usb), so treat it well. This thing is quiet enough to not be annoying, but it is definitely not silent. Even on the lower intensity setting, you can still hear it pretty well. Including through a bedroom door, for example. :)There is one button to turn it on and off by holding it for a few seconds.Another button to control the intensity (it cycles between 5 levels). The intensity resets to maximum if you change modes or turn the device off.The last button advances through 25 modes. That one is remembered if you change the intensity or turn off the device, but it’s still fairly long to cycle through everything. There’s a lot of variety in the vibration patterns of the modes, it’s fun. The repetitive motor noises some of them make are quite interesting actually. Might facilitate placing yourself or someone else in a trance-like state. So overall, this is a fun explorative device with some peculiar aspects and a price point that just require me to recommend it!

A solid entry into the “neck massager” department, with some nice surprises while slightly lacking elsewhere.I will say that there are many, many vibrating types to choose from with this device. You’re able to choose different rhythms as well as different beats. What I mean by that is you can choose vibration intensity anywhere from a low, slow hum, to a hypersonic hand-shaking caucus. Along with this, you’re able to choose a pattern to vibrate to. This can be anything from the normal constant vibration, to a repeating pattern of 3 fast ones and a pause into a single pulse, or a constant single vibrate with a pause in between each vibrate. Even better is that if you don’t like any of these options, you can easily reset it back to the basic one by holding down one button instead of cycling through all of them again. It’s typical material used for these types of things so there’s nothing to write home about. The battery life is not crazy long so don’t expect to use this thing and not recharge it for another 10 uses. I’m also neutral about the design of it, I see that they have a smaller version of this same massager so if you’re looking for something more discrete than you should look elsewhere. The handle, although pretty ergonomic, makes your hand feel the tremors for a while after usage, although it wasn’t long lasting so it didn’t really negatively affect me.Overall, I think this device is still pretty convenient to carry around and for storing, even though it’s more mid-sized than small-sized. With that said it still packs a pretty powerful punch, and the amount of vibration options are nothing to sneeze at.

Obviously this massager has a variety of uses, but the listing has to be family-friendly so talks about using it on your muscles. I haven’t read the other reviews so I don’t know but I may be the only one to actually review it specifically for your muscles and not as a bedroom toy. I got this specifically to try it out on my neck and back muscles because I have a lot of trouble with them. originally I thought I may use it in the bedroom but I have other massagers for that purpose so decided to keep this one specifically for my back and neck Etc. I have other massage type things for my neck and back as well but most of them are on the larger side and are a bit clunky so I decided what the heck I would try a smaller handheld one even if I couldn’t leave it sitting out in my apartment if people were coming to visit and whatnot. One thing you should note if you are using this as a bedroom toy is the size. The listing claims it is a mini massager but I guess mini is in relation to possibly other massagers they have that are huge because this thing is 9 long. If you’re using it as a massager for your back and neck the length is great because it helps you reach that hard to reach spot in the middle of your back.Whatever use you use it for, it is a very comfortable unit. It’s covered in silky smooth silicone that is also easy to clean. The neck of the unit is flexible but not so flexible that you cannot get a deep muscle massage on your neck or whatnot. There are 25 vibration settings and five speed settings, all of which are controlled using buttons in the handle along with the on/off button. The length of the handle definitely gives enough space for the buttons to fit in nicely. The rechargeable seems to last a decent amount of time, and charges relatively quickly with the included charging cord. The internal AI for the settings works just fine. It saves you needing to scroll through 25 different settings just to get to the one you want. This is a very nice feature because scrolling through all the features would take forever. Many massagers make you scroll through them all and there are only 12 or so and it takes forever. So the internal AI is a definite selling feature of this massager. One thing that surprised me about this massager was the noise. Or the lack of it I should probably say. Yes there is some noise but this is probably the most silent massager I have ever come across. For once the silent claim in the listing is relatively true.

First thing first, let’s get real here, neck massager? Hardly. Typical personal vibrator masquerading as something it’s not? You bet. Now, with that outta the way, let’s move on.If you are looking for a massager for any sort for muscle pain relief etc, well, this is probably NOT what you want or need because it’s simply NOT strong enough along with its rather flexible neck that’s easily bent with sufficient pressure which is not what you would need for any massager simply because no massagers will do you any good if you can’t apply pressure with it. You should stop here if a pain relief massager is what you need.On the other hand, if you are looking for a decent personal vibrator that’s reasonably strong and IPX6 water resistant, read on. Physical buildThis is a typical vibrator covered with silicone as they nearly all are nowadays. It’s rated IPX6 and it’s completely covered with silicone with the exception of the little charging port/socket for the barrel connector at the bottom. It claims to have battery capacity of 650 mAh but it’s not verified along with a 120 min runtime (yet to be verified). FeaturesIt has 25 modes to choose from which pretty decent in comparison to most others (usually with around 10-15 modes). It can be turned on/off by pressing and holding down the power button (pic 5) for 2 seconds. A single press of the mode button (middle) will cycle through all the 25 or so (didn’t actually count ’em) different modes. A single press of the level (top) button will cycle through all the 5 intensity levels. It has absolutely no indicator of any sort so it’s very difficult to see what level it is at and/or if it has reached the min or max level. Btw, this particular model does have a memory function but it’s ONLY limited to the mode selection and not necessarily the speed/intensity. To clear the memory, press and hold the mode button for 2 seconds.Note that it cannot be turned on when it’s being charged (a safety feature for electronics that can’t be used in or around water when it’s being charged). PerformanceIt’s fairly powerful given the size and it’s also relatively quiet considering its vibrating strength; however, it’s also not one of a kind because that’s typical of most of the newer vibrators nowadays especially with brushless motors (e.g. used by CPU or case fans) which in itself isn’t anything new or fancy but it’s more powerful than traditional brushed motors and more efficient as well as less heat produced etc.I’d say 8 or 10 or so of the modes are the ones you’d commonly find from slightly cheaper vibrators with limited mode selections and the remaining 15 or so modes are what set this apart from the $20 dollar ones. Again, the vibration is fairly strong and should be sufficient for most people to enjoy; however, some sort of indicator would definitely increase its usability. ChargingThere is no twist and turn involved (no cap to remove) and no pulling or pushing (no silicone cover to pull) in order to charge this. There is a VERY TINY and almost invisible opening at the bottom end (pic 6) of where the barrel connector would be inserted into. I’m a concerned about the longevity of this particular ‘style’ of charging mechanism in the long run, and I wonder if it will eventually allow water in which could be quite unpleasant and perhaps dangerous to say the least. It also goes without saying that do NOT lose the charging cable since it’s not a common one it’s being sold everywhere although you can still get it or something that would work if you buy separate parts for it. ValueAll things considered, this is a fairly decent personal vibrator that does what vibrators do and it’s reasonably strong with 25 modes along with 5 power levels to choose from which is actually pretty good. It’s reasonably priced at $32 for what it provides and its overall build quality, usability, and performance.Though, there are MANY (and I mean many) options out there at this price range with similar, if not better, performance and/or styles if you care to shop around (and perhaps knock a few bucks off). With that being said, if you simply want a classic vibrator that’s well-performed, easy to use, and reasonably water-resistant, perhaps give this a shot.
